The elephants of Thailand have been traditionally used to help humans for many generations, most of the traditional work that they did throughout history was extremely hard labour and required them to live under very tough conditions which was often cruel and unethical.
Elephant Rescue Park was established in August 2015 to provide a home for rescued and abused elephants, many of whom come from the main cities around Thailand, being exploited by humans and often forced to beg on the streets for money.
Our primary objective here is to provide a safe, loving and secure environment for these magnificent animals, this can only be achieved with your help and support by visiting our beautiful sanctuary and supporting us through adoptions, donations and other various fundraising projects that we do.
On your visit you’ll have the opportunity to have one-on-one interactions with all our beautiful rescued elephants. Get to meet and learn all about our mahouts, this is the most important human and guardian in each elephant’s life. You’ll get to feed them, walk with them, hug them, play with them, bath with them and so much more, of course this all depends on your choice of activity.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, getting to learn all about these highly sensitive and emotional animals.
Elephant Rescue Park have four special elephant programmes for you to choose from, these unique and well-organised programme tours are purely designed to help fund our elephants. All profits from our tours goes back to the elephants and towards rescuing new ones.
